Breakfast Crumble



Crumble? For breakfast? Oh yeees! Fall in love with breakfast all over again with this delicious and nutritious Breakfast Crumble. It is vegan, dairy-free and refined sugar free. The best part is it only takes minutes to make and you can customise it with whatever you have at home. Dessert for breakfast is always a good idea!

Ingredients

  • 280g Mixed Berries (frozen or fresh)
  • 70g Rolled Oats
  • 35g Flaked Almonds
  • 1,5 tbs Almond Meal
  • 2 tbs Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbs Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180C.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the oats, flaked almonds, almond meal, coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Place your mixed berries straight into your baking dish. Then, top the fruits with your crumble mixture.
  4. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. The top should be golden brown and the fruits bubbling. Enjoy with some yogurt if you wish!

Tips & Notes

  • This recipe can be customised to your liking. Use the fruits you want, add nuts, add more/less sweetness – the world is your crumble! ;)
  • This recipe feeds two people. Feel free to adjust the quantities fo feed more people.
  • If you like your crumble on the sweeter side, feel free to add a drizzle of maple syrup or honey before serving.
