Quite possibly one of the most loved dessert on the planet. Rich, nutty, fudgy and oh-so-gooey should all apply when baking this beauty. This one contains pecans and milk chocolate chips for extra decadence. A must recipe for all chocolate lovers!
Ingredients
- 250g Dark Chocolate (70%)
- 150g Salted Butter
- 100g Brown Sugar
- 100g Caster Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 80g All-purpose Flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 160g Milk Chocolate Chips
- 150g Pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 180C. Line a square baking tin with baking paper.
- Start by melting the dark chocolate and the butter. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk brown sugar, caster sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth and combined. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture, then the flour and baking powder, fold them though to combine. Finally, add the chocolate chips and pecans chunks, fold gently.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly into your prepared baking tin. Bake for 30 minutes (keep an eye on them, you do not want to overcook them! The middle should be jiggly, not set). Let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then remove from tin and cool completely on a baking rack.
- Cut into square and serve as it is or with ice-cream. Enjoy! :)
